Senate scandal update: compare QP clips to PMO emails

Court documents released this week must make Stephen Harper wish he could go back to the days when Question Period wasn't televised.

The RCMP's 80-page document confirm Harper's former chief of staff Nigel Wright and Harper's Senate appointee Mike Duffy are being investigated for bribery, frauds on the government and breach of trust.

The allegations are based, in part, on emails from senior staffers in the Prime Minister's Office, showing "considerable communication" among PMO staffers about the repaying of Mike Duffy's disputed expenses and lots of chatter between PMO staff and key senators about the Duffy audit, the document states.

This would be a good time to compare and contrast answers in Question Period to information in the court document.
