Watch Canadian doc call out Republican senator on health care

Canadian doctor Danielle Martin stole the show this week in Washington, D.C., when she schooled a Republican senator about the facts of Canada's public health care system.

The special Senate hearings on single-payer health care weren't especially lively until this magical moment, when North Carolina's Richard Burr, dubbed an "I-dont-need-no-stinkin'-facts" senator by a Los Angeles Times columnist, gets a polite smackdown by Dr. Martin, a physician and University of Toronto professor.
